Expanding The Pipeline Through Corporate Responsibility

Let’s face it, recruitment for 2020 has been all over the place since companies were forced to shut down due to the novel covid-19 pandemic. In addition to the healthcare crisis, Americans also discovered the importance of incorporating realistic DEI initiatives and taking corporate responsibility to create a more inclusive work environment.

Although some companies have taken the necessary steps to create a more diverse workspace, a few larger organizations like Wells Fargo are convinced that there is no diverse pipeline of qualified workers to pull from during their recruitment efforts. This statement is just a simple way for companies to point the finger instead of taking accountability for not putting in actual work to attract top tier minority talent.

As the unemployment rate continues to rise due to covid – 19 cases increasing, the Noirefy pipeline of minority talent continues to grow. Our partnerships with companies that are taking the appropriate steps to tackle DEI has provided stability for minority candidates during a time when everything around us is uncertain.

Below are a few organizations taking diversity, equity, and inclusion seriously and are currently on the hunt for diverse people to join their team.

Flatiron Health

At Flatiron Health, we believe that learning from the experience of every cancer patient is the key to improving the quality of care and accelerating research. What stands in the way is an overwhelming technology challenge—much of the available clinical data derived from real-world patient experiences are unstructured, messy, and stored across thousands of disconnected cancer clinics, medical centers, and hospitals. It’s a complicated problem, but one that we believe we can solve.

Flatiron is building a connected technology platform that enables the development of actionable insights that can help cancer care providers and researchers learn from every patient’s experience.

To date, we have partnered with over 280 community cancer clinics, seven major academic research centers, the U.S. Food & Drug Administration, the National Cancer Institute, the National Comprehensive Cancer Network® and over 15 of the top developers of oncology therapeutics. We are learning from the experiences of over 2.2 million cancer patients in the U.S., enabling us to advance the fight against cancer.

Flatiron Health is headquartered in New York City, with an office in San Francisco. Our 800 employees represent a diverse group of leaders from across industries, including oncologists and nurses, data scientists, engineers, researchers and many more.
